The Beautiful Double Room featured an interesting vintage aesthetic with charming furnishings, with a sense of character. Located near a picturesque walking path, it provided an easy escape into nature just outside the door.
The room was plagued by visible mould and a damp atmosphere. Even with the heater running, it remained cold, and the bedding felt damp to the touch. I noticed dust and stains on the chair, which spoke to a lack of thorough cleaning. A nearby road closure forced a detour down a narrow, winding lane that requires cautious driving. Minor maintenance issues like the grout needing attention and unsightly trimmings around the sink further detracted from the experience.

The queen anne had a cozy pub vibe. The staff were super friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and they made dining easy by reserving our table. The breakfast was so filling and the best we had. The food portions were generous! We'll def come back for more next time. It's a great spot after exploring the peaks!
A couple of minor issues tho, the shower grout could use a scrub and there was some hair around the sink. The road leading there was a bit tricky with some closures.

Room size felt cramped, especially in bad weather!!! Maintenance needs attention, with shower door issues and smoke alarm concerns!!! Communication on dog policies could definitely improve!!!

A good spot with a cute vibe and charming owners. The food was divine, especially the Sunday roast-featured eight veggies and proper Yorkshire pudding. Plus, the scenery outside is fine!
One word, toilet sounds! If only I could flush away the hearing, life would be perfect. And honestly, a bit of scrub in the shower wouldn't hurt, darling.
